I want to talk to you about this amazing book that I have had the pleasure of being part of.

A lot of you already know about me being a collaborating author in the : 365 Series with Jodi Chapman and Dan Teck.  Our latest book came out on June 21st and became an international bestseller on Amazon. (in various categories)

Being part of this second collaboration has been a great journey for me.

This is the book that confirms my dedication to my new life as an author and through Moments of Grace of my own,(usually involving nature) I now know that I am on the right path (even if it is taking me longer than I thought originally)

In my years of living in nature, I have had many moments of grace. Many have allowed me to understand a little more about myself and this life journey that I`m on and helped me to gain insight of what living really is.

The moment of grace that I share in the new collaboration has to do with experiencing stillness. This is one of the many lessons that I have learned with nature as my mentor and the inspiration in my life.

Here is my piece from the book:

In Praise of Stillness

Walking in nature helps me invite a gentle, soothing energy into my life. It helps me connect with a part of myself that is calm and peaceful. It also reminds me that stillness is not a place of inaction; it is a state of being that is essential for a soulful life. My time in nature always graces me with amazing lessons, such as the moment a few years ago when I learned the value of stillness.
After a night of restless sleep, I felt my body full of tensions, my mind overly exerted, and my spirit agitated. I knew I needed to find some peace, ground myself, and regroup if I was going to be able to go on with my day. I knew I needed to envelop myself in the healing energy of nature, so I buckled up my snowshoes and set out into the powdered snow.
Freedom, exercise, and peace allowed me to release the stress, the tensions and fears, along with the weight of what had occupied my life and my night. The more I released, the closer I felt to nature. The closer I felt to nature, the more I was able to receive its wisdom and goodness. And the more I allowed myself to become enveloped by the beautiful external environment, the more I connected with an inner stillness – a place of serenity, quiet, calm, and tranquility that allowed me to slow down my body, mind, and spirit so that I could be one with myself and with nature.
Sharing in this wisdom of stillness allowed me to feel that special moment of grace because I knew I had been heard, supported, recognized, and recharged. I was ready to go back to my life knowing that stillness was available whenever I needed it, thanks to Mother Nature.
From that place of stillness, I could face what was happening in my life and trust that I would get through it – whole, grounded and solid in who I am.

This moment is a glimpse into what is shared in this book. It also includes true life stories of grace, miracles and transformations from people from around the world.  There is one grace-filled story for each day of the year from over 250 authors.  If you would like your own copy, please click here
