Nature’s Wisdom: Pause
The winds of change are everywhere in my life and this week I decided to listen to Nature’s way of dealing with massive changes by taking a short pause from my writing.
Most of you might already know that I have been creating space in my life so that I can concentrate on writing a book in the Fall. So before diving into this new life, I’ve taken inspiration from nature by choosing to take a short pause from my weekly blog.
Nature takes a pause to enjoy what has been done. She rests and recharges before getting back to the ‘program’ of growing and expanding.
These pauses allow us, (the humans) to enjoy Nature’s beauty and expansion.
The work is done and is honored by taking a short pause. It is there for others to enjoy as well.
A pause in nature is not taken only when there is a need for rest. Nature’s rhythm of growth always comes to a pause in each season. Each season celebrated for its beauty.
Taking a pause is mandatory for nature to keep going. She pauses when things are fully expanded, green and lush, not just when she is burned and damaged.
When do we allow ourselves to take a pause to enjoy what we have done and share our glory and happiness at where we are with ourselves?
On that note, I have chosen to take a break from Nature’s Wisdom in the next 2 weeks so that I can get ready for what is coming for me this Fall. I’ll return in mid-September, rested and energized for the next part of the journey.
